JANUARY 2024

Niels Præstholm and Creative Music Sønderjylland presents a new online jazz scene called “Jazz at the Living Room”.

The jazz trio “Den Sønderjyske Hustrio” hosts “Jazz At The Living Room” and presents a number of soloists, for examlple the guitarist Niclas Knudsen and the saxophonist Jesper Løvdal.

In addition to “Jazz At The Living Room”, Creative Music Sønderjylland has a concert series with concerts around the region. This concert series presents the projects of members of Creative Music Sønderjylland. The concerts will be streamed on several So-Me platforms.

Niels Præstholm vinder Sønderbørg Musikpris

Sønderborg Musikråd skriver d. 6. marts 2022 på Facebook:

“I går afholdt Sønderborg Musikskole deres årlige MGK-festival på Skovvej, hvor MGK Sønderborgs talenter – repræsenteret i bands og ensembler – krydret med besøg udefra fra blandt andre Dreamers’ Circus fyldte scenerne i et ni-timers musikalsk festfyrværkeri! Hvilken bedre lejlighed til at hylde én af vores lokale ildsjæle i Sønderborg Kommune.

Lige som Fællesensemblet var ved at indtage scenen i foyeren, blev dirigenten Niels Præstholm kaldt frem. Niels har gjort rigtig meget for musikken i Sønderborg, hvor især jazzmusikken, engagementet i Art Ensemble Syd og hans virke som underviser på musikskolen har gjort ham ærligt fortjent til at modtaget årets musikpris.

Stort tillykke med prisen til Niels Præstholm”.
